From anywhere in California, head for Highway 99 and exit to Highway 120 in Manteca (just north of Modesto). Follow Highway 120 into Oakdale. In the center of town at the stoplight, you will turn left onto Highway 120 | 108 heading east into the Sierra Nevada. From this point it is 42 miles to Tuolumne. Just follow the highway to Yosemite Junction where Highway 120 heads for Yosemite. You will continue on Highway 108 past Jamestown. You will pass a couple of exits into Sonora. You will take the Mono Way exit off Highway 108 and turn right. Then you will turn right onto Tuolumne Road. Follow this road past the high school and the old West Side Lumber site. You will see the Tuolumne shopping plaza on your left. Take the first right past the center. You may now refer to the map below to find your way around town.
