By the way, Tuolumne is pronounced "Too-all-ah-me".Less than a century ago, the Tug of War was an Olympic Event. It still survives at the Tuolumne Lumber Jubilee. . .one of the only two tug of wars regularly held in the good ole USA! These guys (and gals) take it seriously, too. This event has to be seen to be believed! Don't forget the Armwrestling Event. . .women, children, and men of all ages try to pin their opponent for top awards.
